Easy Halloween cookies
Get the kids thrilled for Halloween with these creepy bat and spider cookies. Complete with ‘compressed flies’ made from chocolate chips, they’ll be a huge hit.
STEP 1
Heat the oven to 180C/160C fan/gas 4, and line two baking sheets with baking parchment. Beat the butter and sugars together with an electric whisk till light and fluffy. Include the vanilla and egg and beat once again to integrate. Stir in the flour and baking powder with a wooden spoon till you have a stiff dough, then fold in the chocolate chips.
